Do you know why Jesus came to Earth?
|
In the bible, the number 3 is equal to God
the number 4 is equal to the earth
Added together, the number 3 plus 4 is equal to 7 which is perfection

Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
He is eternal, just as God is eternal, and all created things were created by Him,
and through Him, and for Him.
Colossians 1:15-23
Colossians 1:15-23
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—
23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel
which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Being in the form of God, Jesus was humbled and was exalted
Philipians 2:6-10
Philipians 2:6-10
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

God sent Jesus to earth to provide a way for our Salvation. The first 4 books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
describe the birth, life, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
The first chapter of the book of Acts describes
the ascension of Jesus and His instruction for them to wait until they receive power from on high.
The Second chapter of the book of Acts describes the coming of the power from on high, the first gospel sermon preached by Peter
and the establishment of the church and kingdom.
At this point the reason Jesus came to earth was complete.
From here on it is our responsibility to follow the way of
salvation
provided by God.
