I attended church in northridge before Lassen st. was built when i lived in ca. I WORKED FOR jhop SO WAS TRANSFERRED TO OHIO 50 YEARS AGO. i VISITED lassen ST. when i was in Ca, When i was first in Ca. i attended winnetka ave, Church as northridge church was started later by christians from winnetka ave church.

My name is Michael Gorman and I am blessed to have a very long friendship with Susie Mulkey Friend. Well, as you all might already know, I am suffering from some old Air Force injuries. Thanks to Susie, I have been getting some of the most beautiful and encouraging cards from some of your members there. I hope that I don't offend anyone by not writing back, but there are just too many to spend the amount of time that would give justice to a loving and appreciative answer. I so much appreciate all your prayers and cards, and it just confirms to me once again what a beautiful family we all have in Christ Jesus. Please know that you all are in my prayers, and if anyone of you are ever out here in the Oklahoma City area, please look up 84th Street Church of Christ. And know that my wife and I will certainly be looking forward to meeting you. God bless you all, and may our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you all as you strive to expand His kingdom in your area.

I HAVE BEEN STUDYING THE TRUE MEANING OF THE GOSPEL BECAUSE FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT AS A CHILD, I WAS BAPTISTED IN A BAPTIST CHURCH A WHILE BACK AND I LEFT THE CHURCH ABOUT 6 OR 7 YEARS AGO. AND I NEVERED RETURNED. IT HAD TO TAKE ME THIS LONG TO FOLLOW THE TRUE MEANING OF GOD'S WORD AND WHAT HE EXPECTS FROM US.I AM LOOKING FOR A CHURCH HOME.
