A Checklist

A step by step look at the new covenant laws of Christ

The new covenant, as described in the bible, is the standard of authority for everything a Christian can do. The bible gives us information about what Jesus requires us to do and is not subject to interpretation. Therefore, we offer the scriptures in this checklist without interpretation simply presenting the scriptures as they are written.

Detail information for each item on the checklist can be found on other pages of this web site. In the interest of making this a simple page, each checklist point presents the supporting scripture with a "Reference" link for more detail on those other pages.

We leave it to the reader to click on the "Reference" links as well as links to the full bible text to further research the laws of Christ.

It is our goal to do only that which the bible allows us to do.

Even though the king asked him to do this, Balaam understood that when God said no, he requires that we do not change his law in any way, neither adding to it or ignoring any of it. This verse from the old testament shows the nature of God. He requires us to be obedient to him since the day he created mankind.

Psalm 19:7-11
Psalm 19:7-11

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.
