The World Needs to Know, Why Christ?
01/07/2024

Peter, the Apostle, found himself worried, with a great desire to announce the great news of salvation to those who did not know the events that happened in Jerusalem.

The Apostle Peter knew that there were some people willing to receive the most important news ever told.

The world needs to know him.
1 Peter 1:1
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

This message was for the Jews who did not know Jesus, nor knew about his life, ministry, death or resurrection.
For those who were far from Israel.
Waiting for the coming of the Messiah.
Who are in pursuit of spiritual happiness.
1 Peter 1:2
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:
Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

Peter described them as elected But he explains that it's not according to the ways of the world but according to the Foreknowledge of GOD.
According to GOD's plan of salvation for all the nations under heaven.
A plan that only He had for us before the world was created.
Ephesians 1:4-5
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

GOD established that our salvation is only possible through Jesus Christ, His Son.
For this is what Jesus said in His prayer.
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:24 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 1 Peter 1:20 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

GOD foreordained salvation through the blood of His Only Son Jesus Christ
1 Peter 1:20-21
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
1 Peter 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Jesus came just at the right time. The time that GOD had already established.
Can you imagine a Plan of Salvation established before the creation?
A perfect plan of salvation for all nations?
And Jesus, the Son of God, is the savior.

Acts 4:12
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Jesus, the Son of God, already shed His blood for you on the cross.
Therefore, now you can be adopted in GOD, our Father, through the blood of Jesus.
Now you can be found holy and without blame, by receiving, the forgiving of sin.

1 Peter 1:22
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

Purified your souls
by obeying the truth.

Sermon Summary The World Needs to Know, Why Christ?
I. - People need to know that Christ is the only Salvation.

John 17:24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Romans 16:25-26 25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began
but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith.

The Reason for Our Existence
01/14/2024

Have you ever thought about the reason for our existence?

It's not about being born, reproducing and dying.

For many generations, people have been looking for the right answer about existence and about life; outer space, evolution and many other ideas.

The old thinkers who were once called "The Great Philosophers" didn't have the answer.
Romans 1:22 "Professing to be wise, they became fools"

God asks Job:
Job 38:4-6
4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.
5 Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?
6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,

People thousands of years ago, as well today, do not understand this. They are trying to determine how the earth was formed, how is it suspended, where is its foundation and many other questions but have never really found an answer

God also asks Job:
Job 38:19-21 19 Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place.
20 That you may take it to its territory, That you may know the paths to its home?
21 Do you know it, because you were born then, O because the number of your days is great?

Where does light and darkness come from? People thousands of years ago, as well today, do not understand this. They have measurements for light and darkness but no one knows the answer for this question.

We are not just born, reproduce and die. People have no answer, but God is the giver of life/
Lets see what he wants from us too understand the reason of our existence

This is what GOD wants.
Exodus 19:6
'And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.'
These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.

We must become God's worshipers.
Psalm 22:27
All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations Shall worship before You.

How to start with the meaning of life.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man's all.
Why to fear GOD?
Because He is our Creator.
And He gives man according to his doing.
And we must give account four our actions.
And GOD is Who gives reward.
We must become acceptable in His presence.
GOD gives and He takes away.
GOD does not tolerate sin.

It doesn't matter how powerful man can become, they aren't the creation of the universe or of this world.

Acts 17:25-28
25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Acts 17:31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

All the answers are in GOD'S plan of Salvation for humankind.
Ephesians 1:3-6 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

The reason for Our Existence
We are Created to become the praise of His glory in Heaven.
That we should be holy and without blame before Him.
To become His spiritual Holy Nation.
And holy people for the glory of His grace forever.
To praise the glory of His grace here on earth.

All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations Shall worship before You.

Created to Become Eternal
01/21/2024

You have not been created to fail, nor to live in darkness or to die.

But just as sin entered the world, death come to all of us.
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.

Your sin does not guide you to save your soul but condemnation to hell
Ezekiel 18:20
The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

It is time to make the right decision.

Our Lord Jesus recommended us to defeat sin, by removing it from our lives
Matthew 5:29
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
The meaning of this verse is not about mutilation, but repentance and faithfulness to save the soul from hell.

You have the opportunity to believe, and to obey the gospel of salvation
John 5:24
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Don't think God doesn't condemn, He did not spare the angels.
2 Peter 2:4-8
4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;
6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked
8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)

God delivers the Godly
2 Peter 2:9
then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,

We waste our lives offending GOD
Romans 2:5-7
5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:
7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

Where do you want to spend eternity?

You have the opportunity to believe, and to obey the gospel of salvation
John 5:24-25
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. Are you listening to the calling?

Do you want to be safe from Judgment?

Is the future of your soul secure in the LORD?
John 5:28-29
28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Are you listening to the calling?

Ezekiel 18:32
For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!”

Therefore, the power of death controls every person.
Romans 6:16
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Jesus destroyed the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Do you believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God?

I want to spend my eternity with Christ.

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life

Your Relationship with the Creator
01/28/2024

We all have no doubts that our Mighty GOD Yahweh is our creator.
He created us from the dust physically and created us from the water spiritually
We as his own creation, must complete our purpose of existing

We have not existed by chance. GOD has created you to accomplish your part in life.

GOD and the glory of the fullness of Christ created all.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. God gave us our body and His breath of life to become living souls.

We have been hand crafter like clay
That is how we are compared by GOD, when he started molding our character and future
This what Job said while he suffered
Job 10:9
Remember, I pray, that You have made me like clay.
And will You turn me into dust again?
Job 33:6
Truly I am as your spokesman before God;
I also have been formed out of clay.

God sent His prophets to learn from the potter's handcraft,
the work of the hands on the wheel

Jeremiah 18:3-6 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!
Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?

We can never think that GOD has no right to mold me, to transform our lives

Can we Agree that the one who creates is greater than the things created?
Isaiah 29:15-16 15 Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord,
 And their works are in the dark;
They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?”
16 Surely you have things turned around!
 Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay;
For shall the thing made say of him who made it,
 “He did not make me”?
Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it,
 “He has no understanding”?

GOD wants to work with your life and form a creation according His Son's image.

You probably want to ask why? Because clay without form is just mud, dirt and lost.
Isaiah 64:6-9 6 But we are all like an unclean thing,
 “And all our righteouses are like filthy rags;
“We all fade as a leaf,
“And our iniquities, like the wind,
 “Have taken us away.
7 And there is no one who calls on Your name,
 “Who stirs himself up to take hold of You;
“For You have hidden Your face from us,
“And have consumed us because of our iniquities.
9 Do not be furious, O Lord,
 “Nor remember iniquity forever;
“Indeed, please look—we all are Your people!

GOD's Handcraft does not end by creating you as a jar of clay

We are compared with clay because of our sin and disobedience
He sent His son to create a spiritual nation with us, His special people
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. If you are in Christ, you are compared with fine gold, and GOD continues to create the fine disciple to do His will

The good works God prepared.
Isaiah 13:12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold,
A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.
Be vigilant not to get dirty as fresh clay once you become compared with the most fine gold.
Lamentations 4:1 How the gold has become dim!
How changed the fine gold!
The stones of the sanctuary are scattered
At the head of every street.
Lamentations 4:2 The precious sons of Zion,
Valuable as fine gold,
How they are regarded as clay pots,
The work of the hands of the potter!

Let it be the Creator our GOD the One to work with you as the most fine gold so you can shine the image of His son Jesus Christ to the world.

Just as GOD preordained your existing.

The Line of the Promise

The Promised Seed is Christ
02/04/2024

Another reason why we should appreciate GOD, apart from creating us, is because of His promises.

And I'd like to start with the first promise of salvation found in the scriptures in
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

It is true that sin entered the world by one man and that the consequences of sin followed and took dominion over the world because we all sin.

In Genesis, not only do we see the consequences of sin described by GOD to the first man and woman (Adam and Eve) but we can also see another character who originated the fall.

I. The introduction of our spiritual enemy and the promise of the Savior,
Genesis 3:14 14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

The woman, who is Adam's wife, in this prophesy is representing the Church and the common enemy we have is the devil.

This does not mean that there is an existing war between women and all kind of snakes.
Nor that all descendants of Eve should kill every serpent or snake we find.

The seed that is carried by the woman is Eve's Offspring.
It doesn't matter who you are, we All are Eve's offspring.

II. The seed which is described in Genesis 3:15 was presented in form like a person; "He".
And this is because the Seed is Christ our Savior.

GOD said to the serpent in His prophecy, "He shall bruise your head".
It is Jesus Christ who destroyed the power and dominion of the enemy on the cross.
John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”
And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

The Apostle Paul said,
Colossians 2:13-15 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

III. Jesus' death was not a loss but instead a Victory
Because He carried all our sins on the cross and freed us from the judgment of the law.
Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

This is what Jesus said to Timothy.
2 Timothy 1:9-10 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

Our Savior Jesus Christ has abolished death and brought life and immortality.
Therefore, every time we read Genesis 3:15 we must remember:

GOD revealed His plan of salvation for all humanity.
There is an enemy who caused us to sin
But there is a Savior Who is to destroy the works of the enemy
The enemy weapon of destruction is death
And the sting of death is sin
Death reigned until Jesus defeated it
The seed is the promise of the Savior
The seed was to come thru the family line
GOD saved the remnant because of the Seed
GOD is faithful and keeps His promises
The salvation of the Seed is for His Church
The Woman and the Church are One with Christ because we are Jesus' Body
The serpent, the devil, is the father of lies, the accuser and the enemy of the church established by Christ

But if we are in Christ, we shall overcome sin.

Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ revealed to you in Genesis 3:15?
Do you understand Satan's plan is for you to die in sin?
Do you believe GOD's Son is Jesus Christ our Savior?
And that He gave His blood and life for you?
Do you want our Savior Christ to destroy and remove the sin that is within you?
Don't let Satan keep you from salvation.

Be Saved Today!

The Responsibility of Caring the Seed
02/11/2024

Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

How did Noah find grace in GOD?
It wasn't that Noah was looking for GOD, but because GOD knew Noah's heart. Noah's Obedience
Noah's willingness
Noah's faith and trust
Noah's dedication and delivery until complete
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us. Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord,
Searching all the inner depths of his heart

The responsibility to carry the Seed in the line of the blood was given to Noah.
If the message of salvation thru Christ were not a mystery back then, the word would have been more specific about the intentions of GOD

But then, the enemy would have the full knowledge of the truth
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
It is true that Satan knows the scriptures and that he quoted them, but he does not know the mystery hidden from the beginning.
Matthew 4:1-11
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
(click to view the full text)
Luke 4:5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Genealogy of the Seed
Genesis 10:1-5 1 Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
3 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.

These are the lands of the North, the Greeks, the Romans, etc.

Ham begot Cush
Cush begot Nimmrod
Genesis 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Genesis 10:16-20 describes the decendants of Ham, some of the enemies of the Hebrews, the chosen people of GOD who caried the Seed of the promise. (click to view the full text)

Genesis 10:21-25 21 And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.
22 The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
23 The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
24 Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber.
25 To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

This was the light of the promise, who carried the Seed when GOD confused all the people with different languages.

The Tower of Babel

GOD separated the Seed when He separated humanity in different regions and nations to preserve
His promise
His divine purpose of salvation for you and me
Purifying the family line for the Seed

We can find the names we read in Genesis 10 in the family line described in
Luke 3:35-36 Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah, the son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah

GOD protected them, directed them and santified them with the responsibility of caring the Seed.
Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Christ is the Seed and if Christ is in your life, GOD will take care of you.
But that is your responsibility, by caring the Seed of the gospel of Christ.
Just as Noah, we must have obedience.
We must have the willingness to work.
We must have all faith, trust and hope in the coming of Christ.
Pressing on, that we may lay hold of the reward, also laid hold of life, reaching forward for the salvation in Christ Jesus.

Listen to what the Apostle Paul said.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Is the Seed of the Gospel in your life?
Can you carry the Seed in your heart?
Will you hold the Seed in sanctification?
Separate evil from sin?
Why don't you let GOD plant the Seed in your heart today?
To protect you.
To guide you.
To encourage you.
To save you.

Let us be worthy of the Seed of Christ. Even when the world is turning evil.

Sermon Summary The Responsibility of Caring the Seed
Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

How did Noah find grace in GOD? It wasn't that Noah was looking for GOD, but because GOD knew Noah's heart. His obedience, his willingness and faith. He started the ark and finished with faithfulness. GOD preserved His promise in Noah.

Noah's son, Shem, and descendants carried the Seed of the promise in their blood.

We carry the Seed in our hearts.

The Seed in our lives is the gospel of Christ.

Let us be worthy of the Seed of Christ. Even when the world is turning evil.

Believing in the Seed of the Promise
02/18/2024

Abraham was given more than just the responsibility to carry the promise,
he became the first in receiving, the most clear evidence of salvation.

Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Genesis 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

Abraham obeyed GOD's calling
Genesis 12:1-4 1 Now the Lord had said to Abram:
“Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
4 So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.

GOD of covenant
Genesis 17:7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

A command to Abraham and his descendants
Genesis 17:10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: very male child among you shall be circumcised;

Abraham obeyed GOD's more difficult and important commandment
Genesis 22:1-2 1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
Genesis 22:7-8 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”
And he said, “Here I am, my son.”
Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.

GOD indeed had provided for Himself the lamb of sacrifice when He sent His own Son to die for us. Abraham had faith in the promise of the sacrifice even GOD's plan of salvation

GOD has made a covenant with us too. That covenant is the obedience of the Gospel of His Son Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 1:18-20 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

The Second most important person in the history of the family line is the patriarch king David.

The introduction of the line of kings.
Matthew 1:1-17 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:
(click to view the full text)

GOD promised to David and his descendants He will.
2 Samuel 7:13-14 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.
2 Samuel 7:16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.

The patriarch David Acts 2:30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

There were no more of David's descendants of David's descendants in the line of kings after the Babylonian empire.
And when Jesus was born, Herod the great was king. This means that the promise was not for a physical kingdom but the one Daniel mentioned in
Daniel 2:44
And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
It was the promise of the Seed and of the coming kingdom of Christ, the church thru Jesus established with his blood.

"Upon This Rock I Will Build My Church"

With Abraham we learn
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ.

With David we learn the eternal kingdom was established by Christ in the year 33AD.

We are added to the Kingdom when we are baptized.
Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
The kingdom has been to the disciples.
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

John the Apostle wrote the last revelation of Christ to the kingdom while he was still in the Kingdom which we belong
Revelation 1:9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

It doesn't matter where you are, if you belong to the kingdom of Christ you carry the promise of salvation with you wherever you go.

"Walk worthy of the Kingdom of Christ

Worthy of the promise of salvation"

Sermon Summary Believing in the Seed of the Promise
Abraham received clear evidence of the promise for salvation.

Genesis 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice,"

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Hebrews 11:9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;
Hebrews 11:10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. David and the promise of eternal Kingdom'

2 Samuel 7:13 "He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
2 Samuel 7:14 "I will be his Father, and he shall be My son."

What you must know about the Seed
02/25/2024

Before the book of Genesis was ever written, the enemy was declared and cast out from heaven.
Revelation 12:8-9 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
But here on earth he strikes our faith, and he allowed to bruise our souls with temptation.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.
Matthew 4:3-11 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple,
6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and,‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”
7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
The temptation of pride.
9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”
10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Just show your pride. Give me what I want. Just as your family did. Just as David did. Just as every person.
Job 1:8-12 8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”
12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”
1 Chronicles 21:1 Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel. Zcehariah 3:1 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.
That is how Satan constantly bruised Jesus's head.

The Lord's people were always victims of his temptations and accusations.
Since the beginning of humanity, he is responsible for all evil. Therefore Jesus was his target in every possible way. With Judas betraying Him.
John 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,

The devil bruised Jesus' head with devoted men.
Luke 22:52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and the elders who had come to Him, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs? Because he was allowed to.
Allowed to cause people to hurt Jesus.
To bruise Jesus when they took Jesus' tunic.
When they places a crown of thorns on His head.

The enemy through Jesus was defeated.
By making him carry His cross.
By nailing him to the cross.
By taking His life in the most horrible way possible that no man should ever experience.

But everything was already written.
Since Genesis 3:15 and by the prophets.
Everything was already planned by GOD our Father, even before the creation of earth.
"And you shall bruise His head" means that Jesus shall die in order to bring life.

Therefore, Jesus triumphed on the cross.
Colossians 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Jesus explained it with the grain of wheat.
John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

Jesus death was necessary for our forgiveness of sin.
For our reconciliation with GOD.
Was necessary for our hope of eternal life.
To become the author of your faith.
Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For this reason the devil is not happy.
1 Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Therefore, if you believe Jesus is the Son of GOD, and that He can clean your heart and soul, remember that the only victory is in Jesus Christ.
Let His seed of the gospel touch your heart and your mind to make your decision today.
And be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and the opportunity of eternal life.

Sermon Summary What you must know about the Seed
The devil has permission to strike our faith. He received permission to bruise Christ's heel and to tempt us in our weaknesses.

We must always be strong in our faith.
GOD gave us an example of victory
  in His Son Jesus Christ,
  in His suffering,
in His death on the cross,
and in His triumph over death.

Christ is the answer to overcome sin.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

A wonderful lesson to understand
John 12:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

The Understanding of the Priesthood
03/03/2024

First let us understand that the priesthood was coming from imperfect people.

The day Aaron was selected to serve GOD, he encouraged the Hebrew people to idolatry, by forming a statue for them.
Exodus 32:1-4 1 Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”
2 And Aaron said to them, “Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.”
3 So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron.
4 And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf. Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”
Exodus 29:44 So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests. Exodus 32:27 And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.’ ”

GOD established what the priest must offer Him, gave them every detail in divine instructions.

But Aaron's sons did not do according to GOD's will.
Exodus 30:9 You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it. Leviticus 10:1 1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them.
2 So fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

The priest must also offer sacrifices for his own sin
Leviticus 16:1-2 1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered profane fire before the Lord, and died;
2 and the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

A new law for the priest's service in the temple was a consciquence of sin.
Leviticus 16:3-4 3 Thus Aaron shall come into the Holy Place: with the blood of a young bull as a sin offering, and of a ram as a burnt offering.
4 He shall put the holy linen tunic and the linen trousers on his body; he shall be girded with a linen sash, and with the linen turban he shall be attired. These are holy garments. Therefore he shall wash his body in water, and put them on.
Hebrews 5:1-3 1 For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
2 He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness.
3 Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for sins.

GOD declared Jesus His Son and priest
Hebrews 5:5-6 5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.”
6 As He also says in another place:
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek”;

Jesus ministered us, being our perfect high priest
Hebrews 5:7-10 7 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,
8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
10 called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,”

Priests under GOD's oath
Hebrews 7:21-24 21 (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn And will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek’”),
22 by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.
23 Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.
24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

The only priest that can be called holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, Perfect
Hebrews 7:26-27 26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
Hebrews 5:10 called by God as High Priest
“according to the order of Melchizedek,”

The greatness of His Priesthood became clear with the sacrifice on the cross for you.
Not only on the cross, but His resurrection and ascension to heaven, for He is seated at the right hand of the throne of the GOD.
Hebrews 8:1 Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, He is not or a temple made with hands.
He is at heaven where He prepared a place for you.

Now Jesus made each one of us His priests.
We can pray to GOD for others.
We can worship GOD.
Read learn and teach GOD's word
We cab reach out to new souls for GOD.
Revelation 1:5-6 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

But just as in the new law for the priests after the death of Aaron' two sons.
Leviticus 16:1-4
We must wash our bodies with water.
But in the waters of baptism.
We must wear the new priest garments.
Jesus Christ gave us a new life, as true spiritual worshippers acceptable in the presence of GOD.
1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Are you serving with good incense?

Sermon Summary The Understanding of the Priesthood
Christ is the unchangeable High Priest.

He called us to His Priesthood. To serve GOD in spirit and truth.
1 Peter 2:5 You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy Priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

We are the chosen people of GOD.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal Priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Are you serving GOD in your life?
John 4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

The Reason for the Scapegoat
03/10/2024

When we learn about the Greater Priesthood in Christ, we read Leviticus 16 to learn about the new regulations given to the priest.
I would like to say that many of the things we find in the ceremonial events of the temple were a reflection of the greater things to come.
The sanctification of the temple with the blood is the most known application in reference to Jesus.

I would like to present to you another option that is in the same day of atonement.
This was part of the new direction in the ceremonial activities directed by the priest.
GOD knew that the first ceremonial work presented had an inconsistent with the sanctification, the forgiveness of sins, and the presentation of the priest before His glory.
These became the reflection of the new covenant that was to come with the precious blood of the Messiah's sacrifice.

The Scapegoat
Leviticus 16:7-10 7 He shall take the two goats and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
8 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat.
9 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering.
10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.

Leviticus 16:20-22 20 And when he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place, the tabernacle of meeting, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat.
21 Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.
22 The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to an uninhabited land; and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.

Verse eight says:
Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat.

In Contrast with Jesus, the people made a selection between two of them, one to be free and the other to die for our sins.
Matthew 27:17 Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
In these contrasts, the priest declared the sins of the people over the goat's head
Leviticus 16:10 10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it. Leviticus 16:21 ... all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man.

Jesus was sent away from Jerusalem carrying the cross, even though it was given to someone else.
Matthew 27:31-33 31 And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified.
32 Now as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name. Him they compelled to bear His cross.
33 And when they had come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, Place of a Skull,

Carrying the cross to a place outside the city.
John 19:17 And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha,

Golgotha is a place outside Jerusalem. (here Javier has a map showing the city of Jerusalem)

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. The unclean were taken outside the city.
The dead were buried outside the city.
Sinners were executed outside the city.
Jesus was taken outside the city to be executed.
Unclean carrying our sin.
The scapegoat, just as the ceremonial ritual of atonement.

The scapegoat was taken to the wilderness outside of the city to get lost, left alone in the wilderness until death. And the whole nation witnessed the event, knowing that upon that goat was the weight of everyone's sins, guilt and iniquities.

Jesus was not only taken outside the city, but was the sacrifice for yours sins.

The writer of the book of Hebrews quoted the prophecy given in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 31:34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

Meaning that Jesus was to take away our sins to remember them no more.

When we are baptized for the remission of sins, Jesus is our atonement. He takes away all of our sins.

And when he forgives our sins, it's forever.

Sermon Summary The Reason for the Scapegoat
Many Christians ask, Why is there a scapegoat for the atonement in the Hebrew ceremonials?

The priest brings forward two goats One for the offering to the Lord
And the other one for the scapegoat

The priest lays both hands on the goat He confesses all of Israel's sins on it
Then a man takes it to the wilderness

Why did GOD order that strange ritual? It symbolized that GOD would never remember their sins
The scapegoat took them forever
It shows what GOD will do with the death of His Son, Jesus, on the cross
Jesus became the atonement for our sins

The Book of Hebrews reveals how GOD prepared the future events in Christ
Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."

The Arc of the Covenant
03/17/2024

The Ark of the Covenant represented the authority of GOD
and was a great blessing to the Hebrews
Exodus 24:25
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.

And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.

And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

Inside the Arc
The Testimony
Exodus 25:16   Exodus 40:20
When God first gave Moses the instructions on building the ark, He said "You shall put into the ark the Testimony".

The Golden Censer
Numbers 16:41-47   Hebrews 9:5
Used for fire from the alter with incense to make atonement for the congregation

The Golden Pot that had the Manna
Exodus 16:33   John 6:32-35
Moses said to Aaron, “Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it..."

Aaron's Rod that sprouted
Numbers 17:1-8   Isaiah 11:1
The Lord Told Moses to get a rod from each father’s house. When Moses went into the tabernacle of witness he saw that Aaron's rod had sprouted and put forth buds and had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.

The Manna and Aaron's Rod
The presence of the jar of manna symbolized God's constant provision for His people. Aaron's rod was dead, yet grew buds, and was placed inside the ark to symbolize God's approval as Aaron for High Priest.

The Arc resided in multiple places
It will follow them for many years and will reside in multiple places as they move from one place to another.

Exodus 40:1-3
The Ark first resided in the Tabernacle

Numbers 10:35
In times of war:

Joshua 3:17
At the crossing of the Jordan river

1 Samuel 4:4
On their journey to Jerusalem

2 Samuel 6:12
In the house of Obed-Edom.

Once Israel reached the Promised Land, 1 Kings 8:9
Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb
2 Chronicles 5:10
Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb
Hebrews 9:1-4
For a tabernacle was prepared which had, among other things, and the tablets of the covenant;

Jeremiah 3:16
The Ark was a shadow of Jesus Christ.
It represented the authority of GOD among them.
It functioned as a chest or box in which the Israelites could carry the Ten Commandments written on the tablets of stone and as a place from which God could speak to Moses and the Israelite priests.

Exodus 25:22
"And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel."

There is a lot of speculation about what happened to the ark. This verse says that it was no longer needed and nothing about where it ended up.

Jeremiah 3:16
“Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the Lord, “that they will say no more, ‘The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore.

Sermon Summary The Arc of the Covenant
Hebrews 9:3-5 3 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,
4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
5 and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

The Ark of the Covenant represented the authority of GOD and was a great blessing to the Hebrews.
1. In the Tabernacle.
2. In times of war.
3. At the crossing of the Jordan river.
4. On their journey to Jerusalem.
5. In the house of Obed-Edom.
The Ark was a shadow of Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 3:16 “Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the Lord, “that they will say no more, ‘The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore.

The Curtain in the Tabernacle
03/24/2024

Galatians 3:10-11 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for
“the just shall live by faith.”

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us
(for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

The Apostle Peter said:
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. Galatians 3:23-25 23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.
24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

The priests offered gifts according to the law.
Hebrews 8:5-6 5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle.
For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
Hebrews 8:13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 9:6-7 6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.
7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;

The meaning of the presence of the tabernacle.
Hebrews 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Nobody could enter except the high priest.
John 2:19-21 19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

It was necessary that the Messiah die for our sins, give his body in sacrifice
Matthew 27:50-52 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
Hebrews 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. Hebrews 10:19-20 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

The veil (curtain) in the temple was representative of the mortal flesh and glory of Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The opportunity of Eternal Life through His death on the cross.
Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Sermon Summary The Curtain in the Tabernacle
Many of the Jews who were converted to Christianity had learned the message of salvation from the Old Testament. They learned that a) Moses' law was given to correct the people but not to save them
b) that the ceremonial rituals of the tabernacle were just a reflection of the greatest thing to come in the times of Christ

They did not have the complete Bible but they did have some of the New Testament letters and the Gospel.
Both allowed them to understand that salvation was to come only through Jesus, the Son of GOD.

The letter to the Galatians (chapter 3) and the book to the Hebrews (chapter 8 - 10), was an eye opener to those who came out of the strict directions of circumcision.

Hebrews 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."

The Blood of the Purification
03/31/2024

Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

Let's understand what the bible teaches about the blood.

I - There is life in the blood.
Genesis 9:4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat.

According to Minnesota's department of health, the normal level of oxygen is usually 90% or higher. Some people with chronic lung disease can have 90%.

God gave us His breath of life.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Leviticus 17:10-11 10 ‘And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’

II - The bible teaches us that the blood was used for the Passover and in the sacrifices.

We learn that in the Passover, the food was specific and there was a connection with Jesus.

GOD is the One who gave specifications on the food offerings.
Leviticus 23:10-13 10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.
11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12 And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord.
13 Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin.

The fruit of the vine must be from red dark grapes and not of green grapes.

Here is where the bible makes the comparison.
Genesis 49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine,
And his donkey’s colt to the choice vine,
He washed his garments in wine,
And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
Deuteronomy 32:14 Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock,
With fat of lambs;
And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats,
With the choicest wheat;
And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

Jesus took that fruit of the vine and said...
Matthew 26:27-28 27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Nobody understood the real message of the Passover ritual until then.

The blood of the lamb, that was used to paint the post of the doors to save the Hebrews from death, represented the blood Jessus shed on the cross.

III - Jesus has a greater blood for He is the Son of the living GOD.
Hebrews 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

He gave his life for you, leaving behind many drops of blood until giving everything on the cross for your sin.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus' blood justifies you from your sins in the presence of GOD in the water.
Romans 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

That in his baptism, you receive the reconciliation and prace with out Father GOD.

Colossians 1:20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

To become accepted, to be redeemed by His blood, the forgiveness we never receive but only through the blood of His Sacrifice.

Ephesians 1:6-7 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Colossians 1:13-14 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
John 3:3, 5 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
1 John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

Do you want the spirit, the water, and the blood of Jesus Christ
to agree and bear witness of your salvation today?

Sermon Summary The Blood of the Purification
What does the Bible teach us about blood? The Scriptures say there is life in the blood.
Therefore, it's to be eaten.
Genesis 9:4 "But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat.

The Bible teaches that the Passover and all the sacrifices were sanctified with the blood.

Even the fruit of the vine was called blood.
Genesis 49:11 Binding his donkey to the vine,
And his donkey's colt to the choice vine,
He washed his garments in wine,
And his clothes in the blood of grapes.
Deuteronomy 32:14 Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock,
With fat of lambs;
And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats,
With the choicest wheat;
And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

Jesus taught us that the blood of the grapes, the wine, was the reflection of His blood.

We learn and believe that only the blood of Jesus Christ's sacrifice saves us in baptism.

Salvation is for those who overcome sin.
Revelation 12:1 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Why Did God Create the Bees?
04/07/2024

There is an incredible small life form called bees, a small and hard working species.
We can see them in our trees, flowers and on different landscapes.
Some people are afraid of them and some are allergic to their sting.
But not everyone.

Did you know...
Bees have five eyes and six legs?
There are more than 20,000 species.
They can fly for about twenty miles an hour.
Female bees are caller workers bees.
The queen bee can lay up to 2,000 eggs per day.
Losing its stinger will cause bees to die.

By working together as a great community, bees help plants and trees grow by pollinating them.
Bees help maintain life producing food and oxygen.
Bees are an important part of our ecosystem.

The book of Hebrews called GOD the Builder and maker.

GOD is the great architect who designed life.
Hebrews 11:10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Wisdom taught us that all creation is by design.
Proverbs 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there,
When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
1 Chronicles 28:19 “All this,” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing, by His hand upon me, all the works of these plans.”

CREATION IS BY DESIGN

Bees are from that incredible part of that design.
GOD created bees so that we can learn our responsibility and purpose in life.

Remember when GOD said -
Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard!
Consider her ways and be wise,

He wanted us to look into every creature.
To learn from all the creatures created.
And just as the ants, so the bees.

Honey represented prosperity and a healthy life.
Leviticus 20:24 But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the peoples.

It represented the flower of the bread of life.
Exodus 16:31 And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

Honey is a reference to the scriptures.
Psalms 19:7-9 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

More that gold and Honey because it's an eternal blessing.
Psalms 19:10 More to be desired are they then gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Wise is he who cares for the word.
Proverbs 16:23-24 23 The heart of the wise teaches his mouth,
And adds learning to his lips.
24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

The likeness of the sweetness of the word in the heart of the prophet.
Ezekiel 3:1-3 3 Moreover He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”
2 So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll.
3 And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.
Revelation 10:9 So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.”
And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

If the word is the likeness of the sweetness of the honey, let us learn from the bees.
Bees protect the Honey with their lives because it is everything for them.

Let us do the same with the Gospel.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

Let us do the same with the doctrine.
1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Just as bees have the challenge of pollination to provide for life, we are servants of the Lord.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Let us take the honey of the word to every flower, every plant and every tree.
Mark 16:14-16 14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Sermon Summary Why Did God Create the Bees?
GOD created bees to teach us how to be responsible, faithful and to be protectors
Their responsibility is:
 to pollinate all flowers
 to create honey
 to preserve it indefinitely

Its faithfulness is:
  for the queen bee
  to their honeycomb
  to the bee colony

Bees are like a small army:
 willing to protect their queen
 their honey
the small queen babies with their own lives

Just as bees, we must learn to be responsible, to evangelize all people,

Mat. 28:19-20
Just as bees, we must learn to be faithful to GOD. And learn how to preserve the true gospel.

1 Timothy 4:16
Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Honey in the bible represented the word.

Ezekiel 3:3
And He said to me, "Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you." So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.

The Magical Life of the Butterfly
04/14/2024

The Monarch Butterfly is a symbol of a healthy Ecosystem. •When the Monarch Butterfly becomes all adult, they change their natural food resource,    looking for nectar, transforming from herbivorous to an pollinator.
•The Monarch Butterfly weight is only one gram and is capable to fly from the south of       Canada and North of the USA in an incredible migration.
•They fly from 1,200 miles to 2,800 miles to the forest in the mountains of Mexico.
•The end of this migration concludes in the arrival, right in the beginning of November.
•The reason for their migration to Mexico is to hibernate.

The most mysterious life cycle started as tiny little caterpillars, eating, their own egg shell. •The little caterpillars start exploring the world eating every leaf, all kinds of leaves,
  flowers and plants, never stopping.
•This is the most vulnerable times of their life for predators.
•And even when they have an incredible life, they are not really pleased to see enemies.

Just as them, we create a character by receiving all kinds of education from our parents.
But shortly, we learn the pleasures of the world, falling into temptations and become sinners.
Crawling from leaf to leaf, destroying and descending and consuming the world.
1 John 2:15 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
Genesis 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Bildad said,
Job 25:6 How much less man, who is a maggot,
And a son of man, who is a worm?”

There is comparison between the worm and the caterpillar in relation to man.

David used the same comparison,
Psalm 22:6 But I am a worm, and no man;
A reproach of men, and despised by the people.

But the worm is described as a threat to the resources of life.
Deuteronomy 28:39 You shall plant vineyards and tend them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them. Jonah 4:7 But as morning dawned the next day God prepared a worm, and it so damaged the plant that it withered.

That is the example of the kind of life we have by following the pleasures and sins of this world. •That was me before I obeyed the gospel.
•That was the condition of all people before making a decision to be baptized in water for     the remission of sins.

But caterpillars have the more impressive transformation in life, that changes the future of their caterpillar lives. •The process of the metamorphosis started with the formation of the cocoon.
•As if the caterpillar died to five life to a butterfly.
•Where there is no longer a caterpillar but the state of complete transformation.

Can you imagine humans having the ability to start a new life, a complete and different life?
John 3:4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Imagine how great of an opportunity this could be for your life when you recognize your sin?

Well this opportunity exists!

And just as the metamorphosis of the Monarch Butterfly, we can be transformed into spiritual worshiper of GOD in our lives, having the old sinful life buried forever.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Sermon Summary The Magical Life of the Butterfly

The Human Metamorphosis
The comparison of the life of a caterpillar. a) Caterpillars eat their egg shell to start life.
We receive education from our parents when we are born.
b) Caterpillars can't stop eating leaves.
We learn the lust of the flesh of this world.
c) Caterpillars creep from leaf to leaf.
Man creeps on temptations of the world.
d) Caterpillars' lives end with creating a cocoon.
We deny sinful life in baptism.

Metamorphosis brings life to a new butterfly.
Baptism in Christ gives new spiritual life.

You receive forgiveness of sin by His blood.
And the opportunity of eternal salvation. Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Galatians 3:27
for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

1 John 2: 15 - 16 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world.

God Wants You to Learn From the Sheep
04/21/2024

The two main places we find lamb or sheep sacrifices are:

I Abel's sacrifice, being more acceptable in the presence of GOD than Cain's sacrifice. • For Abel gave a living sacrifice.
• For Abel gave something he truly loved
• He gave the best of him.
Genesis 4:4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering,

II The other sacrifice did not offer clear information of the ace, instead Isaac makes reference to the lamb.
Genesis 22:7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”
And he said, “Here I am, my son.”
Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

Isaac learned well from his father.
Everything was ready except the lamb or sheep.

And just about 610 years after, GOD established the sacrifice of the Passover.
These passages help you make a walid calculation of the time.
Genesis 25:25 And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau. Genesis 17:8-9 8 Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
9 And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
Exodus 12:10 You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.

And GOD gave them a significant animal for the sacrifice.
Exodus 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats.

This makes a reference to Noah's sacrifice. • A clean and innocent animal, taking the place for sinful peoples sacrifice.
• A lamb shadowing Jesus' sacrifice.
• A perfect lamb.

A sheep being compared to Jesus' disciples.
How important is my life as a sheep?

David knowing the responsibility said;
Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.

The shepherd anoints a sheep for health reasons. • To maintain the sheep alive.
• Flies deposit their larva in the ears and eyes of sheep and create an infection that produced blindness or even death if not well treated. For that reason David said;
"You anoint my head with oil".
• For the oil covers the skin from irritation and repeals the fly.

David knew how much GOD cares for us.

Jesus is the Shepherd.
John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."

He is the lamb.
John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

He gave His blood for our sins, to deliver us from death.

The fly caused blindness to the sheep and eventually death.
2 Corinthians 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

This scripture is referring to Satan, the devil the old serpent.
Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

This is the same serpent that Genesis describes.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

Jesus protects us from evil.
Jesus' blood is the cure for the infection created by the fly, removing sin from our soul.

The attributes of the lamb are: • Their silence before death.
• A humbling character.
• A clean animal for eating.
• They were selected by GOD in perfection and innocence.
• Knowing by clean blood.

Did you know that the lamb carries snake Anti-venom? • Anti-venom is most often made from sheep's blood.
• Even when sheep suffer from snake bites up to 10 hours, the sheep survives because the blood of the lamb destroys the venom.

We suffer temptations that lead people to condemnation.
James 1:12-14 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

That is how sheep get Lost.   And that can be you.

You probably wonder why, in the Bible, we are compared to sheep just like Jesus?
Because He was tempted in everything just like you and me, but He triumphed over all.

Let the gospel of Christ reach your heart.
Let the precious blood of Jesus save you.

The marriage of the lamb is coming.
And who has been invited, And who will assist?

Revelation 7:14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”
So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Sermon Summary God Wants You to Learn From the Sheep

Before the commandment of GOD to man.
a) From Abel's offering to Noah's and Issaic's sacrifice, the offering became the same lamb.
b) A clean animal, clean to eat, and a clean life.

The commandment to Moses and the Hebrews
a) A perfect lamb for sacrifice on the Passover.
b) The blood of the lamb to save the life of the firstborn.

GOD selected the blood of the lamb to become a shadow of the greatest blood of salvation. a) The precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
b) The blood of the ultimate sacrifice to save us. We are compared as sheep, and Jesus is our great Shepherd who gave His life for His sheep.
c) We were the lost sheep that were found.
d) The Shepherd anointed to save us from evil.
e) We are compared as Jesus for He faced the same temptations to understand your battles.

Luke 15:4-5
4 'What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
5 "And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

All Amazing Animals and Man Created with Purpose
04/28/2024

GOD created all amazing animals, sea creatures, birds and insects to Praise Him.
All creation does GOD's will.

Psalm 148:3 Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Psalm 148:8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
Psalm 148:9 Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
Psalm 148:10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
Psalm 148:5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created.

Nothing was created in vain. GOD designed all in perfection.
Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; Job 36:26-33 26 “Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him;
Nor can the number of His years be discovered.
27 For He draws up drops of water,   Which distill as rain from the mist,
28 Which the clouds drop down   And pour abundantly on man.
29 Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds,
 The thunder from His canopy?
30 Look, He scatters His light upon it,   And covers the depths of the sea.
31 For by these He judges the peoples;   He gives food in abundance.
32 He covers His hands with lightning,   And commands it to strike.
33 His thunder declares it,   The cattle also, concerning the rising storm.
Job 38:22-30 22 “Have you entered the treasury of snow,   Or have you seen the treasury of hail,
23 Which I have reserved for the time of trouble,   For the day of battle and war?
24 By what way is light diffused,   Or the east wind scattered over the earth?
25 “Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water,
Or a path for the thunderbolt,
26 To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one,
 A wilderness in which there is no man;
27 To satisfy the desolate waste,   And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?
28 Has the rain a father?   Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
29 From whose womb comes the ice?   And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?
30 The waters harden like stone,   And the surface of the deep is frozen.
Ecclesiastes 1:6-7 6 The wind goes toward the south,   And turns around to the north;
The wind whirls about continually,   And comes again on its circuit.
7 All the rivers run into the sea,   Yet the sea is not full;
To the place from which the rivers come,   There they return again.
Psalm 8:3-4 3 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
 Princes and all judges of the earth;
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
Psalm 148:11 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

Psalm 139:1-14 (click to view the full text)

Psalm 139:1-3 1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.

We have failed Him, not done GOD's will
Being the only creation that failed Him

Psalm 139:4-6 4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.

The purpose of life is not to become any great thinker but spiritual worshipers of GOD.
You can have all the knowledge of life you want, but if you don't have GOD'S wisdom in you, you have failed as His creation.

Luke 10:21 in that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight

The Baby only thinks about milk and about love
And man wants to get into trouble and malice
Babies do not hold any evil thought
And man cannot forgive, nor ask for forgiveness
The Baby only thinks about happiness
And man lives thinking of all the worries and looses peace

Man can die with worries, frustration, or anger even by our diet
for our hearts are not built to resist much

It is OK to be thinkers, but we must careful to question GOD, to think we don't need Him, or to deny Him

We are his creation
Job 10:11 Clothe me with skin and flesh,
And knit me together with bones and sinews?

Let GOD be Your life and help you accomplish the purpose of life
Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

All men have this purpose in life.
Because all creation was created for Christ - Ephesians 1:4-6

Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love

And as all creation praises GOD, we must praise Him too
Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Jesus said this to a sinner:
John 4:23-24 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Could this be you?
Or are you still thinking?

Sermon Summary All Amazing Animals and Man Created with Purpose
GOD'S creation has a purpose and a reason.

GOD created the sun, the moon and the stars creating time and seasons.
Genesis 1:14
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

GOD created fire, hail, snow, clouds, and stormy winds fulfilling His word. He Created Mountains, hills and all trees.
Psalm 148 8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9 Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
(click to view the full text)
From the wild beast to the small insect, all creation does according to their purpose in life.

GOD created man, who thinks and reasons but argues with his Creator, denies Him and disobeys Him with sin, becoming a great foolish thinkers and blind philosopher of error.
Psalm 139:2-7 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, o Lord, You know it altogether
5 You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
Romans 1:21-22 21 beause, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools.

My Love for the Gospel and the word, for the Church
05/05/2024

2 Timothy 1:4-5 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy,
5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
1 Timothy 1:5 Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

These words we just read have a grateful meaning.
In the text, we can read that the Apostle Paul wrote this letter to Timothy, not when he was a young man, but when Timothy had already accomplished a significant growth in his spiritual life.
 By Learning as a Disciple.
 By Experience, Practice and Work.
And Presenting His Fruit as a Christian.

Learning as a Disciple.
a) In the fifth century before Christ, in Greece, the word disciple was used for the first time to describe an apprentice who lived with his teacher to learn from his example of life, following him everywhere he went.
b) The disciple left everything behind to spend his time learning.
c) This was known as the only way to acquire knowledge to become a future master.

Timothy's desire was to become a true and complete disciple of Christ.

Timothy's love for the gospel and his salvation was moved by faith and tears. This is the kind of Heart GOD is looking for in your life.

It's not strange that their hearts were cut, because this is what GOD asked from the beginning.
Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

GOD demanded all disciples to repent and to humble their hearts in love towards Him, and today, He commands us to obey the Gospel.
Acts 8:37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”
And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

Timothy's tears not only showed his love for the Gospel, but the willingness to serve GOD with a humble heart.

When Paul wrote the second Letter to him, Timothy was about 30- to 33-year-old and with about 12 to 15 years of experience in the Gospel.

The Apostle Paul (in prison) rejoiced in Timothy's achievements in the Kingdom, starting as a young disciple and now a man with full experience and becoming an evangelist.

Timothy's Experience and Practice.

a) Timothy was well trained by the Apostle Paul.
Was circumcised to be accepted in every Jewish synagogue, so the work of the gospel could be preached without obstacles.
He witnessed all studies and Paul's sermons.
And witnessed the beginning of many church congregations and the faith of new converts.
He witnessed persecution first hand.
Acts 16:1-40
(click to view the full text)

b) A True Disciple of Christ Must be Moved by Faith, Hope and Love. Living by faith, just as Timothy did.
Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Timothy learned from his grandmother's and mother's faith, living by faith and directing Timothy's faith to Christ.

Someone with faith invited you with all love and care for your soul.

c) The Apostle Paul asked Timothy to preserve the doctrine of Christ.
2 Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
To the Corinthians he said "Holding Fast".
1 Corinthians 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

The Apostle Paul rejoiced in prison with Timothy's memories, knowing he can continue preaching the Gospel.

Timothy's mother and grandmother rejoiced for the fruit of their faith in Timothy.

Is there anyone rejoicing for what you have accomplished with your faith in Christ?

Are you still growing in faith?
Or are you still an apprentice without experience?
The book of Hebrews says that we should become teachers and this requires disposition.

Where can your Faith take you as a Christian?
a) Are you able to move mountains or obstacles that don't allow you to grow in faith?

b) When the people called the disciples Christians for the first time, they saw... - That they were not regular disciples following and observing Jesus' example, but imitators of Christ.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. - A Christian is a follower of Christ who is willing to transform his life, imitating the life of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 11:1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:6 And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

To imitate Jesus' Faith. Imitate Jesus when you are tempted.
Imitate Him in tribulation.
Imitate Jesus in every word of your heart.
Imitate Jesus with unconditional Love.
Love for our Father GOD.
Imitate Jesus when you are tempted
Imitate His love for all the souls.
Imitate His love for the church, the kingdom.
A real Christian imitates Jesus' faithfulness.

c) The next level in our faith
Become a better servant
Romans 12:3-8 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence;
I Corinthians 14:26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
The Apostle Paul gave Timothy this charge.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Timothy's faith helped him to be present in every worship service, every study and every class.
Ephesians 5:15-17 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. James 2:17-26 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith must help us in all of troubles
In all the things we fall short
  In our fears
  In our wickedness
  To become more faithful
  To be more responsible
In every work for the Lord
    In word and dedication
    In our relationship with others
Our faith must help us grow spiritually because
it is how we truly love and care for God.

Hebrews 6:10-12 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Sermon Summary My Love for the Gospel and the word, for the Church
A disciple is the apprentice who follows and learns from his master's life. a) Timothy's desire was to become a disciple.
b) Paul saw this faith in Timothy's family.
c) Timothy's heart and will were moved by faith.
d) Paul wrote the second letter to Timothy when he was no longer young, but an experienced man. GOD wants a contrite and humble heart from me before Him, willing to serve and to obey.

All Disciples must earn experience, practice and grow spiritually in knowledge and work.

Inactive faith does not produce any fruit for God.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. James 2:17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works".

I- All children of God must become imitators of Christ

a) Jesus buried His will to do His Father's will.
John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

b) We must bury our own will, leaving the old me behind to God's will in our lives.
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

When we die in the waters of baptism, and resurrect to a new life, we must bury our will with the old us.

c) Without abnegation there is no submission to do according to God's will.
Philippians 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

If we want to be rewarded as faithful saints of Christ, we must humble ourselves in service and obedience.

II- Seeking for the real goal wish is our reward in heaven.
a) The reward of labor.
Colossians 3:1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. b) A saint worthy of Jesus sacrifice.
Ephesians 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, c) Humble, welling to serve others at all circumstances.
Ephesians 4:2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

It's a commandment to love one another.

A true love put His life behind preferring the good for the others.

Is my love for others a burden to me? Am I willing to deal with all kind of attitudes, supporting bad days within my true love for souls?
Is my bible always ready with me, to help others, to answer others, to invite others to Christ?
Do I carry invitations or cards with me to give to my neighbor?
Am I reading the stories of the bible to my children?

III- It's time for all saints to look up for the lost.
To care for our own children's salvation.
To show our friends the true love of God

Becoming a people of prayer for others.
2 Corinthians 1:6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

a) Bringing the Good News of Salvation to your loved one is for his own forgiveness and salvation.

b) Our joy will be completed when we see our friends and love ones coming forward to be baptized.

c) If you start doing the will of our Father, you won't be the only one rejoicing.
Your loved ones will be rejoicing as well.
And the Lord will be happy with your labor.

If we do the Fathers will and bury our own, to let Christ live in us, we will bring more souls to God and with them our beloved family.

2 John 1:1 The elder, To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth. Imagine that elect lady is you, as a mother.
Then after the years you hear from others saints how faithful your children faithfulness.
Not only are they good citizens but faithful and active in the church where they attend.
Probably your boy now becoming a song leader.
And your daughter becoming a Sunday's children's teacher.

4 I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. The Apostle John is pleading you.

5 And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. Continue showing the same love you have been giving.

6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

NEVER stop praying.

Encourage them, loved them, keep yourself connected to GOD.

2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.

Even when not all our children abide with Christ, you must keep doing the will of God.

9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

1.- Humble yourself. 2.- Bury your will 3.- Submit to the will of God

The Gospel in My Heart and Mind leads me to Service
05/19/2024

God loves the worst in me, showing me how I can give the best of me. He wants all the best love of my soul.
The best I can have, comes from Him.
It wasn't my natural love, but the Love HE taught me through His son Jesus.
  The Unconditional Love of GOD.
To love Him with that Unconditional Love.
To love the Gospel and His Church.

I. My Heart Must be Captive by the Gospel of Salvation.
a) Greater than a precious treasure.
Matthew 13:45-46 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls.
46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Revelation 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass
   (the Gospel)

b) In Love with Jesus' Gospel and Promises. Like the wife's heart of the beloved.
(for she is the shadow of the church, Jesus' bride)
Song of Solomon 5:2 I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, "Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night."
(Like in the parable of the ten virgins)
Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
  (We are waiting for Christ)

c) Must be my secure first love, we cannot lose it.
Luke 15:8-10 8 " Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?
9 "And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!'
10 "Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
(The joy of Salvation and reconciliation)

II. Without love for the gospel, it is impossible to please God.
a) My actions without love are meaningless.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge,
and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

b) We must practice the perfect love of the Father and the son Jesus Christ for the souls.
Matthew 5:44-48 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

c) What kind of love do I have to give to please GOD?
John 14:15, 21, 10 15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
(There is no other love acceptable before GOD)

III. My Love for the Gospel Must give a true Change in my Life.
a) Just as the love of the Thessalonians.
1 Thessalonians 1:3, 5 3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,
5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
b) Becoming followers of Christ, obeying the gospel under times of persecution.
1 Thessalonians 1:6-7 6 And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit.
7 so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe.

c) The love of Christ must be rooted and grounded in our hearts and minds.
Ephesians 3:16-21 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height --
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

The Army of the Lord
05/26/2024

Image

2 Timothy 2:4
No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

A True Servant. Is always ready for the fight.
Vigilant at all time.
Ready to serve.
Is never alone for he has a family to watch over, to fight for, to care for.

I  The good soldier of the Lord must learn who the enemy is.
a) Our fight is with Satan's evil attacks. For he is the thief who steals our freedom.
John 10:10
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
b) The one who plans to kill our relationship with the GOD. Just as he deceived Adam and Eve in the beginning.
Genesis 3:4-5
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.
5 "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

c) Not only was Adam defeated, but we also were defeated by sin, and were exposed to death. These is the separation from GOD. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.
It's time to rescue souls from the death.

Man down! Man down!

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 2 Timothy 2:3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

II  This world is the battle zone.
a) The enemy keeps looking for victims of death. 1 Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world

This easy prey could be your friends.
Could be someone in your family.
The one who lives next to you.
Or the one you just meet.
But whoever the easy prey is, we must save.

b) You will be blessed with the reward of everlasting life, in the day of the LORD. Luke 12:37-38 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.
38 "And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

c) The Soldier of the Lord does not watch for himself, but for others as well. Cares for others.
Encourage others.
Teaches the truth to others.
Prays for others.
2 Corinthians 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

(This is the mindset of a true soldier)

2 Thessalonians 3:13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.

You can Identify the enemy and be alert but…

III  Make sure you are welling to serve.

a) 1 Peter 3:12-15 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
13 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled."
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

b) To become a good soldier of the Lord we must be welling to learn and create a true friendships, brotherhood and Christianity.
Romans 12:11-18 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

Is this the kind of soldier you want to become in the presences of GOD?

Why don't you declared your love and faith to GOD and His Son Jesus coming forward to obey the Gospel of Christ in the waters of baptism?

The Gospel in My Children
06/02/2024

Image
We are living in dangerous times where we must protect our children.

To see for our children's education and future.

As Christians, we must be aware of the work of the evil forces, whose path of destruction has dominated leaders and rulers, school teachers, and has influenced media and many other sources of publicity.

There must be a solid foundation of faith in our families to protect the future of our children.

There was a time when we cried because there was a monster under our bed and our parents would come over to hug us and to show us there was nothing to be afraid of.

Many of us received great bedtime stories every night. - But these days, there is no more value in family time.
- No reading together with children.
- New generations don't know what it's like to listen to LP vinyl story records.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Children of Parents without Conscience. a) Their dirty work is to trap easy prey and our children are easy targets, for they are still learning the first lessons of life and the enemy knows how vulnerable they are.
b) Are you not responsible enough to not allow it?
c) Sharing and buying this thing for your children can be risky when we don't research the pros and cons before any decisions.
d) Allowing our children to choose is a bad behavior this generation's parents have mistaken.
e) Not instructing them at home as parents is negligence.
f) Not giving your time to them is abandonment.

This generation is in evil hands but you can change it for your children, if you become more responsible.
2 Timothy 3:6-9 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;
9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

Children of an Irresponsible Parents. a) Today, satan's work is to take control over your children.
b) To do so, he used you, but then accused you, to disarm you, having nothing, with no morals to defend.
c) You can't win this battle by letting your children get busy playing videogames all day.
d) Using a tablet to see videos all day.

Children of a Parents who are Living as a Victim.
When a person lives the life as a victim and not responsible for the future of their children, this person will give away his children for his freedom, sin… a) "Don't bother me, don't you see I'm stressed?
b) I work too much, I need my space, my time, I need to rest."
c) "My children will be fine with the phone or the tablet."
d) Not knowing what they are learning.
e) And ignoring the real cost of their freedom.
2 Timothy 3:10-12 10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance,
11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra -- what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

The Children of a True Christian Parents. a) You suffer persecution as a Christian parent.
b) Because if your children are attacked by your enemy, you are attacked as well.
c) Therefore, as a good Christian parent, you must schedule their time for homework and games or television, for learning is the most valuable time instead of being in front of a screen.
d) You are praying with them, and teaching them good manners.
e) You read the Bible to your children every night, along with good old bedtime stories.

The Children of a Great Christian Parent must listen from their parents…
Some examples; • The Sower: Matthew 13:1-9.
• The Weeds: Matthew 13:24-30.
• The Mustard Seed: Matthew 13:31-32.
• The Pearl: Matthew 13:45-46.
• The Faithful Servant: Matthew 24:45-51.
• The Two, House Builders: Matthew 7:24-27.
• The Rich Fool: Luke 12:16-21.
• The Good Samaritan: Luke 10:25-37.
• The Friend at Midnight: Luke 11:15-13
• The Prodigal Son: Luke15:11-32
• The Good Shepherd and His Sheep: John 10: 1-16
• The Vine and the Branches: John 15: 1-12

Are you reading any of these to your children at night?

2 Timothy 3:13-15 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Your children learn with Illustrations and that's fine.

Image
a) Was your childhood a great gospel learning experience?
b) Can you share this with the new generations to come?
c) If your childhood wasn't in the gospel, are you still an easy prey for the spirit of shame and confusion?
d) Remember that if you are a victim, your children will be in the hands of the evil one.
e) But if you build a gospel plan for your family, you will save your children's future.

Why?
Because in the Bible is the wisdom of God and not of man.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Even the work as a good Christian parent.

Sermon Summary
The Gospel in My Children
I  We are living in dangerous times and we must protect our children. a) First, be aware who the evil forces target.
b) The evil forces' path of destruction has dominated leaders, school teachers and media. - libraries, clothing stores, fast food business etc.

II  There must be a solid foundation of faith.
Going back to the old structures of Christian families may save the future of your children. - Even the great times of bedtime stories are lost.
- We must stop living as victims and start building a good Gospel plan for our families.
- Because your children are the enemy's targets, we can't fall short as good parents.
- Do not allow Satan to use and accuse you, to disarm you with great shame for you can't stand as a true Christian parent to protect our children.
2 Timothy 3:1-3, 14-15 1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Family Bible Trivia at the Dinner Table
06/09/2024

Image

• The night was coming and a mother set the table for her family.
• You can see a smile on her face and ready to enjoy a blessed moment with her family.
• Pasta, bread, fruit and some flavored drinks.
• Some neighbors joined them for dinner because these are the most cherished dinners ever.

• The children at the table waiting to be served.
• The father getting ready for bible trivia to start.
• The wife with a great smile, anxious to hear the first question.

What is the first animal mentioned in the Bible?
Everyone gives a good guess.
These are the most beautiful moments at that home.
Eating delicious food, cheering with neighbors, practicing friendship, educating with the scriptures, pending valuable time with the family, creating a good Christian family tradition.

• The following question,
• Which animal never returned to Noah? (the crow or the dove?)

Matthew 9:10-11 10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

• Through the years, many people have abandoned these good traditions.
• Jesus sat at the table with all kinds of people, but we can't even be at the table with our family?

I.  Why is this wonderful tradition disappearing in many homes? • Because everyone is busy.
• Because time is money.
• The lack of interest.
• Because Love in the family is not a priority.
• Because Jesus is not at the table with me.
Family dinner table became an empty space.

Matthew 26:20-22 20When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve.
21 Now as they were eating, He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me."
22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, "Lord, is it I?"
•Would it be good if we asked the Lord the same question, "is this me?"

II.  Sometimes we just forget why things were important or needed.
• Important family values are vanishing.
• he table has been turned into a war zone.
• A place where I will make my point clear.
• The place where I will express my character when I'm angry with you.
• Food stopped being as good as it used to be.
• No one likes to eat together anymore in order to avoid conflicts. • And bible trivia has been completely forgotten.
• Where is the Light of the table?
• Where is Christ sitting?
• Is He next to you?
• Is He the reason for your great family dinner?

•Mothers witness empty chairs at the table.
•One by one, all tables start losing a family member, they have grown and are not interested in eating together with the family anymore.
•Don't be late for dinner" these words are no longer a custom.
•If we lose our Christian family values, Jesus will vanish from our hearts as well.
•Even parents, for there is no more love.
•Because without Jesus at your table, there is no guarantee of faithfulness.

III.  Change all conflicts, apathy, and lack of interest, for the true Love of God and the Gospel for the good of your family.
• Let us light the table and invite Jesus with us.
Luke 24:29-30 29 But they constrained Him, saying, "Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them.
30 Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them…
• Building a Gospel Plan for Your Family
• (The good habits of Christian families) • One of these is when the father starts spending time reading and meditating in the scriptures to bring Bible questions at the dinner table, this is the combination of Agape Love with Storge Love.
• When the mother gives all her heart to prepare a delicious dinner, to serve the husband and children with a Storge Love.
• And together a Philia Love, for they are a team. But these must come from Agape Love.

Luke 24:32 And they said to one another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"

• How is your heart with God?
• Still a burning flame to activate your service?
• Is the word of God your priority in life?
• Are you too busy for Christ?
• Are you too busy for your family?
• Are you losing interest in the gospel?

Invite Christ in all your special moments.

•Without inviting Him, other things will have the preeminence instead of Christ.
•And when your children leave home, they will no longer have the burning flame in their hearts for the gospel of Christ in them.

• Would you like to build a gospel plan for your family.
• Are you interested in your family's salvation?
• If you bring Christ to your table, you will have the opportunity to be invited to His.

Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Ask Your Husbands

A spiritual message for church couples.

God spoke in the beginning about creating a special helper for man.

• There is no better help for man than a wife.
• Different, yes, but especially compatible for man.
• There is no other creation other than woman to be the perfect wife and future mother of any man's children.

Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." • An Essential Helper.
• An Undeniable, Compatible Wife.
• These two natural virtues cannot be optional, nor replaceable.

The reason why our Mighty GOD created the woman was because He created man first and formed him according to perfection, but He gave him three factors he must find to feel complete. 1. Every man must find his identity.
2. All man must find partnership (a wife).
3. Man must find the need of God.
For God said "It is not good that man should be alone"

• Therefore, he must find his purpose in life, responsibility, and his identity, securing his work position.
• Man, must find a wife and form a family.
• He must identify himself as a responsible husband and father.

And it is not good for man to be alone, for every man must walk with GOD.

I may ask you… • How do you identify yourself as a man?
• How do you identify your father?
• How do you identify your husband?

The relationship between Husband and wife must be a blessing together to build a family.
And this scripture can create exactly that. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 34 Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says.
35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church.

I would like to apply this verse to use it as a reference to the communication between husband and wife at home.

The first principal I'd like to use is the "One Another Consent". Just as the example the Apostle Paul gave in 1 Corinthians 7:5. • Apply this in every decision you take.
• You must have a conversation with your husband to come to "One Another Consent".
• Another principal we can find in marriage communication must be in connection with Loving One Another.

Today I would like to give advice to the wife.

The scripture we read said: "And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home"

But how? This scripture is not saying not to ask your preacher.
But creates an important Christian value, the communication between husband and wife.
To ask your husband, the first step must be to define yourself as a Christian believer. • Then together, have bible studies at home.
• Thinking, how can you become a better husband, a better wife.
• How can you become better parents, creating a better future for your children.
• But if you don't identify the value of your husband, your only option will be to define someone else's knowledge to ask.

If there is anything to learn, together, as husband and wife, you can learn from a regular Bible class at the church building.

If you say you have a better understanding than your husband, you are forgetting your part in life with your husband.

Remember GOD said: "I will make him a helper comparable to him" • Are you your husband's helper?
• Are you looking to be comparable with him?
• Not forgetting the principles of love and the "One Another Consent".

You don't need to overcome or have all the control in marriage.

In order to have a healthy relationship and healthy communication, let GOD be the One that controls your marriage, for He established marriage and families on earth. • As a good comparable helper, your husband can become a professional in everything he pursues to build an identity.
• But even more, if GOD is the One that controls your marriage, he can become a deacon for the work of the church, teacher in the congregation, a preacher or an Elder.
• A good helper can look for a good book to study together.
• A good study Bible, good bible commentary, or a Bible dictionary.
• Because your husband can become a great Christian father.
• The most capable husband, with a compatible wife and compatible children under the direction of GOD.

The Gospel in the Mouth of the Husbands
06/23/2024

The man who is in love cannot hide his relationship because it is impossible for him not to be thinking about his wife all day. • My wife cooks better than anyone I've ever known.
• My wife is so clean that my house is spotless.
• She dresses like no one else.
• She is the best mother in the family.
• She is way better with money than me, she saves us from over spending and is really smart.
• My wife has better self-control than anyone, for she does not get mad easily.

• I love my wife so much, that I prefer to spend time with her than to be with friends or other people.
• She has the best smile ever.
• My wife is the most organized woman ever.
• My wife is incredibly beautiful.
• Then he asks his friend "Don't you agree?"
• Well, My wife…

Romanticism is needed. For that reason, we have the Song of Solomon
The Song of Songs, which is Solomon's book.

None of this can be possible if the couple does not live a healthy relationship. • Because true love starts with a good relationship with GOD.
• Anyone can say they're in love.
• Anyone can have a true passion in love.
• Anyone can offer unconditional love.
• But not every love can guide you to an eternal true Love that is in GOD, in heaven.
• Therefore, if that love cannot be eternal, that love is limited to this world.
• And that love cannot carry you to the gates of heaven together with Christ.

Let us read a true statement.
Acts 17:30-31 30 "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31 "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
• Are you in Christ's righteousness?
• Is this what you are teaching your wife?
• Are you still in love with her?
• And what about her soul?
• Have you warned her about the Day of the Lord?
• Have you been responsible with her future along with yours in this life?
• Do you care for her salvation?
• But how can we offer the way of salvation if you are not in love with the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Hope you are not a stumbling stone instead.

Jesus shows His love and mercy for everyone. • He healed many people who suffered.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

• And He can heal your broken spirit.

Broken spirit, because you are limited to this world, without hope at the end of the line. • Subject to this world and its conditions of love.
• Storge, familial, paternal, nurturing love.
• Philia, friendship, caring love.
• Eros, sensual, attraction love.

Jesus' love for His church can be found in the scriptures in the Bible, goes beyond death. • Jesus declares to Peter…
Matthew 16:16-18 16 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17 Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this Rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Peter declared that Jesus is the Son of GOD. • Have you declared this to your wife?
• Have you declared this to your children?

Jesus told Peter that he has been blessed by GOD, and helped Peter understand that Jesus is the Christ.

Have the scriptures, the inspired word of GOD, helped open your eyes to understand?

Jesus announced the foundation of the church upon His shoulders; to save us from the gates Hades, can this benefit your family? Jesus carried His cross just as he carries His church.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He gave His life for the church.
Ephesians 5:25-29 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

Can you be blessed just like Peter today?
Can the word of GOD find you and your broken spirit with the need of true Love?

One day, Peter tried so hard to blend in with the crowd so he wouldn't be recognized.
At that moment, his way of speaking, his speech betrayed him.
Matthew 26:69-73 69 Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.”
70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.”
71 And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
72 But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!”
73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.”

Peter's speech betrayed him, as the people commented? Instead, the words in his mouth declared the person he really was.

Because Peter's heart was with Christ, and Jesus said "for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."
Matthew 12:34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

If a woman asked you if you are married, you respond "Yes I'm happily married".

If someone asked about your relationship with Christ, your heart will speak for you, because you are thankful for Jesus' sacrifice. • You are thankful for the Love Jesus has for your soul.
• You are thankful for Jesus' forgiveness.
• You are thankful because GOD blesses you every day.
• You have GOD'S Word in your mouth because you love Him.
• He is the provider of your job, your career, your wife and children.
• Because GOD is all for you.

Your heart cannot offer anything else but the true gospel and a clear conscience. • Let the fruit of your lips be fulfilled by the Holy Spirit of GOD and offer the true love Agape - the unconditional Love of Christ that dwells in you.
• Share this Love with your wife.
• Share this Love with your children.
• Share this Love with your parents.
• Share this Love with your friends.

Let your mouth speak, explain, teach, and testify the great love of GOD in your heart.

Sermon Summary
The Gospel in the Mouth of the Husbands

The man who is in love cannot hide his relationship because it is impossible for him not to be thinking about his wife all the time.

This cannot be possible if the couple does not live a healthy relationship with God. a) Anyone can say they're in love.
b) Anyone can have a true passion in love.
c) But not every love can guide you to an eternal true Love that is in GOD in heaven.

Therefore, if that love cannot be eternal, that love is limited to this world, and does not carry you to the gates of heaven together with Christ.

If you live in Christ's righteousness, you will look for your loved one's salvation and warn her of the day of judgment in love and care.

Jesus' Love for His church can be found in the scriptures.

His Love goes beyond death.
Matthew 16:16-18 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

He carried His cross just as he carries His church.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.

Building a Gospel Plan for My Family
Because Loving Also Means I Pray for You.
In these series of lessons, we have learned that in order to build a Gospel plan for our families we must 1.- Teach our children, setting the basis for good communication and relationship with the Lord.
2.- Practice together as couples and families, dedicating time to reading the bible, singing, and praying.
3.- Creating a healthy environment in the relationship.

I.- How do we set this basis? a) Let your children see you take full spiritual responsibility in your life.
b) Children will always learn the good behavior of their parents.
c) Do not teach your children that the gospel is less important than…

And occasional visit, a field trip, or any secondary thing that can pull you from your responsibility with GOD.
Hebrews 10:23-25 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

This is what David said to his young son.
1 Kings 2:2, 3 2 "I go the way of all the earth; be strong, therefore, and prove yourself a man.
3 "And keep the charge of the LORD your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;

You may have said-
The gospel of Christ instead of the "law of Moses".

The Apostle Paul encouraged the Romans to serve, but according to the measure of faith each individual had.
Romans 12:3-10. 3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;

II.- You can only do what your faith allows you to do. a) And that is probably the reason why you cannot come early.
b) Or the reason why you cannot read the bible with your family.
c) The reason why you cannot have more spiritual growth.
James 2:14, 17-18, 26 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?

Can he save his family?

17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Loving is praying for each other and to move forward together.
Cornelius was moved to call his family and friends together to listen to the Gospel.
Acts 10:24 And the following day they entered Caesarea. Now Cornelius was waiting for them, and had called together his relatives and close friends.

And the jailer keeper in Philippi
Acts 16:31-32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.

A couple working together to help the Apostle Paul.
Romans 16:3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,

And many other good examples of people whose faith was moved into action for the good of the marriage or the entire family.

III.- If your faith cannot take you to the next step, there is only one reason;
GOD is not your priority in life. a) Therefore, you must grow your faith.
b) You must be more spiritually active.
c) You must humble yourself to GOD, to find yourself willing to grow. - As imitators of Christ.
- In sanctification.
- Living accordingly to the word of the gospel.
- In GOD'S will.
- Living with a spiritual purpose.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy -- meditate on these things.

For Jesus said
Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Let GOD'S will become your will.

And your actions, as mothers and fathers, be acceptable in GOD's presence.

Because loving also means I pray for you.

I study with you, I sing with you, and

I'm attending at time to church services with you.

Sermon Summary
Because Loving also means I pray for you
I. How do we set bases?
a) Let your children see your spirtitual life.
b) Children will always learn the good behavior of their parents.
Hebrews 10:23-25 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

II. You do what your faith allows you to do.
a) A reason why you cannot come early.
b) you cannot read the bible with your family.
c) The reason you cannot have more spiritual growth.
Hebrews 12:3-10 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?
8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.

III. If your faith cannot take you to the next step, there is only one reason.
GOD is not your priority in life. a) Therefore, you must grow your faith.
b) You must be more spiritually active.
c) You must humble yourself to GOD to find yourself willing to grow.

As imitators of Christ.
In GOD's will, in sanctification.
Living according to the word of the gospel, with a spiritual purpose.
Let GOD's will become your will and your actions as mother and fathers, be acceptable in GOD's presence.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
